Poor Donkey, Poor People

Increasing the number of working donkeys at local mining from difference places at Shinyanga region is due to reason that, people who owned donkeys are real poor, their means of living depend only on donkeys to work, donkey care the family bread, pay school fees, pay dowry etc, but these people still they don't have basic donkey care knowledge mainly on load packing saddle, we are still looking for your support to provides more pack saddles

Helping Donkeys at Local Mining


Continuation of helping poor donkeys at local mining by conducting free training on making pack saddle and provide them for all donkeys found at mining, there is more than 800 poor working donkeys by loading mining stones on there back down to processing areas without any pack/harnessing materials which causing more back wounds. we still need more assistance to reach all donkeys, please support us to help these poor donkeys

Donkey Pack Saddle Providing and Training

Animal Aid Abroad are proud to support a new group in Tanzania called TAPO - Tanzania Animals Protection Organization. AAA will be supporting this group by paying for 300 saddle packs for donkeys working the recently opened Mwakitolio Gold Mine in the Kahama District of Tanzania. Up to now none of the 300 donkeys have any padding between their loads and their backs which causes severe pain and rubbing. These donkeys will also be given veterinary treatment and handlers educated on donkey welfare.http://www.animalaidabroad.org/

Mhungula Brick kernels at Kahama district is the place whereby many donkey owners are earning their daily income for transporting building materials by using oxen cart pulled by donkey in every day of life,The donkey are fitted in oxen yolk without any padding materials which results in neck injuries,TAPO is trying to help all donkey in need in this area and District in general, please support us
